About Incalculable
Arts & Wellbeing by Dr Laura J Brown

If you’d like to learn more about my workshops or explore potential collaborations, visit my Workshops page or get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
I’m a mixed-media artist with a background in feminist global health research and expertise in creative, participatory research methods. With lived experience of anxiety and depression, I’ve experienced the therapeutic benefits of arts and crafts first-hand and this fuels my passion for creative health and community wellbeing.
As a certified Art Life Coach, I run arts-based wellbeing workshops at universities across the country and in my local community in Folkestone. My work blends creativity, care, and connection, helping people explore expression, resilience, and reflection through art.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion are at the heart of what I do. Alongside my creative work, I also support university students as a specialist mental health mentor and study skills tutor, registered with student wellbeing and disability services.
I’m DBS checked and have public liability insurance, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all my workshops and sessions.
